MSL-50 Lock

      Two Code Capacity
    1. User 1 Code:1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8
    2. User 2 Code: 1 - 6 - 8
      Lock-Out Penalty
    1. Five Beeps Lockout Penalty
    2. If three invalid codes are entered in a row, the keypad will shut down for a period of fifteen (15) minutes.
    3. During this shut down period the keypad will not accept any codes.
      Two User Codes
    1. Two User Codes can be programmed up to eight (8) digits long.
    2. Please change both codes immediately for your safety.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

      Always Perfrom this operation with the door open
    1. Before closing the door, make sure all the changes are correct.
      Quick Start
      Change User 1 Code image2
    1. Locate the red button on the inside hinge side edge of the door.
    2. Press the red button (lock will beep twice with the yellow light on)
    3. Input: Your New Code - *
    4. [Lock will beep twice]
      Unsuccessful Code Change: five beeps (the old code is still valid), repeat steps 1 - 3.
    5. Test your code several times before closing the door.

      NOTE:
    1. Verify the new master code at least 3 times before closing the door to make sure the code is correct.

      Change User 2 Code
    1. Locate the red button on the inside hinge side edge of the door.
    2. Input: 0 - 0 on the keypad and then press the red button (lock will beep twice with the yellow light on)
    3. Input: Your New Code - *
    4. [Lock will beep twice]
      Unsuccessful Code Change: five beeps (the old code is still valid), repeat steps 1 - 3.
    5. Test your code several times before closing the door.

      NOTE:
    1. Verify the new master code at least 3 times before closing the door to make sure the code is correct.

      Open Lock
    1. Input: Code - # (light stays green for five (5) seconds)
    2. Turn the handle clockwise before the green light disappears.
      Example: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - #
    3. If three invalid codes are entered in a row, the keypad will shut down for a period of fifteen (15) minutes. During this shut down period the keypad will not accept any codes.
      Low Battery Warning
    1. Red light appears when you open the safe other than the green light.
    2. Enter your code and get valid response but the lock doesn't unlock.
      Changing the Batteries
    1. Locate the battery cover on the bottom edge of the keypad and remove the cover by pulling on the tab.
    2. Carefully and gently remove the 9-volt battery from the compartment.
      CAUTION! Hold onto battery connector to avoid pulling wires out of housing.
    3. Carefully reinsert the new 9V alkaline battery, do not force the battery into the compartment.
    4. The lock will retain all current codes and settings.
