      Two Code Capacity

      1. NOTE:
      2. If the safe is opened with the override code it will set the User Code back to the factory default.
        WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU CHANGE THE DEFAULT MASTER CODE

        IMPORTANT: PLEASE KEEP THE DOOR OPENED AND PLACE IN THE LOCKED POSITION WHEN CHANGING THE USER CODE. AFTER CHANGING THE USER CODE PLEASE TEST THE NEW CODE SEVERAL TIMES.

      Wrong Code Penalty
    1. Entry of three (3) consecutive invalid codes results in a 5-minute delay period.
      Audio/Visual Signals
    1. Double signal - two (2) LED flashes and two (2) beeps - indicates entry is valid or accepted.
    2. Triple signal - three (3) LED flashes and three (3) beeps - indicates invalid or not accepted.
      Automatic Re-Locker
    1. The controller will re-lock in 4 seconds after a valid entry is made and the door is open.
      Low Battery Alert
    1. Controller repeated beeping during an unlocking indicates that the battery is low and needs immediate replacement.
    2. Manufacturer recommends the use of 9-Volt premier alkaline batteries and an annual maintenance replacement of the batteries.
      Single & Dual User Mode
    1. Single Mode: Open lock with one (1) code (override or user code).
    2. Dual Mode: Open lock with two (2) codes (user1 and user2 code).
      Time Delay
    1. Time Delay: A time period waiting for opening lock. The maximum Time Delay is ninty nine (99) minutes.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

      Always Perfrom this operation with the door open
    1. Before closing the door, make sure all the changes are correct.
      Quick Start
      Change Master Code [3 - 8 digit code]
    1. Enter: # - Existing Master Code - #
    2. The set light will stay orange for ten (10) seconds.
    3. Enter: 1 - * - New Master Code - # - New Master Code - #, before the orange light disappears.
    4. If a mistake is made during the change, wait thirty (30) seconds and repeat steps 1 - 3.
    5. Test the new code several times before closing the door.
      The lock will indicate a valid code change with a double signal.
      The lock will indicate an invalid code change with a triple signal and the old code is still valid.
      NOTE:
    1. Verify the new manager code at least 3 times before closing the door to make sure the code is correct.
    2. Operations between adjacent steps need be completed in 10 seconds. Otherwise, the lock system sets back to standby status.

      Activating User Code
    1. Enter: # - Existing Master Code - #
    2. The set light will stay orange for ten (10) seconds.
    3. Enter: (User #) - * - New User Code - # - New User Code - #, before the orange light disappears. (User #: Specify which user you woul dlike to activate 3, 4, 5 or 6).
    4. If a mistake is made during the change, wait thirty (30) seconds and repeat steps 1 - 3.
    5. Test the new code several times before closing the door.
      The lock will indicate a valid code change with a double signal.
      The lock will indicate an invalid code change with a triple signal and the old code is still valid.
      NOTE:
    1. Example: # - Master Code or Manager Code - # - 5 - * - New User Code - # - New User Code - #, this will activate User Five (5).

      Change User Code
    1. Enter: # - User Code - #
    2. The set light will stay orange for ten (10) seconds.
    3. Enter: # - New User Code - # - New User Code - #, before the orange light disappears.
    4. If a mistake is made during the change, wait thirty (30) seconds and repeat steps 1 - 3.
    5. Test the new code several times before closing the door.
      The lock will indicate a valid code change with a double signal.
      The lock will indicate an invalid code change with a triple signal and the old code is still valid.
      NOTE:
    1. Verify the new manager code at least 3 times before closing the door to make sure the code is correct.
    2. Operations between adjacent steps need be completed in 10 seconds. Otherwise, the lock system sets back to standby status.
    3. The Master and Manager can also change the user codes by following the ACTIVATE USER CODES section Steps 1 - 3.

      Deleting Codes
    1. Enter: # - Master Code or Manager Code - #
    2. The set light will stay orange for ten (10) seconds.
    3. Enter: (User #) - * - # - #.
      Deleting Manager Code
      1. Enter: # - Master Code - #
      2. The set light will stay orange for ten (10) seconds.
    4. The lock will indicate a valid code delete with a double signal.
      The lock will indicate an invalid code delete with a triple signal and the code is still valid.
      WARNING:
    1. Changing the Master Code in single user mode will delete the Manager Code and all User Codes.
    2. Changing the Master Code in dual user mode will delete the Manager Code and Users 3 & 4.
    3. Changing the Manager Code in single user mode will delete all the User Codes.
    4. Changing the Manager Code in dual user mode will delete Users 3 & 4.

      Open Lock [Single User Mode]
    1. Enter * - User Code - #
    2. The lock will indicate a valid code entry with a double signal and the open light will stay green for five (5) seconds.
    3. Turn the handle clockwise before the green light disappears.
      Open Lock [Dual User Mode]
    1. Enter * - User Code - # - Master Code - #
    2. The lock will indicate a valid code entry with a double signal and the open light will stay green for five (5) seconds.
    3. Turn the handle clockwise before the green light disappears.
      Set Time Delay
    1. Press * or # to initiate the Time Delay.
    2. The lock will indicate a valid setting change with a double signal.
      Example: # - Master Code - # - 05 - # - 05 - #, this will set a five (5) minute time delay.
      Operating Safe When Time Delay is Set
    1. Enter: # - Master Code - # - (01-99) - # - (01-99) - #
    2. The lock will signal once every ten (10) seconds during time delay and will signal every second during the last ten (10) seconds of the time delay.
    3. The lock will signal twice every ten (10) seconds during the open period. (The open period length is two (2) minutes)
    4. During the open period you will need to enter your code.
      De-activate Time Delay
    1. Enter: # - Master Code - # - 00 - # - 00 - #
    2. The lock will indicate a valid setting change with a double signal.
      Set Single User Mode [Manager OR User Code to Unlock]
    1. Enter: # - Master Code - # - 0 - # - 0 - #
    2. The lock will indicate a valid setting change with a double signal.
      Set Dual User Mode [Manager & User Code to Unlock]
    1. Enter: # - Master Code - # - 2 - # - 2 - #
    2. The lock will indicate a valid setting change with a double signal. Please see the HOW TO OPEN YOUR SAFE section for unlocking in dual user mode.
      Low Battery Warning
    1. The green LED light will signal in red when opening your safe.
    2. The lock is giving you a valid signal but is not unlocking.
      Changing the Batteries
    1. Turn the keypad housing to the left (counter clockwise) and carefully pull away from the mounting plate to expose battery compartment.
    2. Remove the four AAA Alkaline batteries and replace.
      CAUTION! Hold onto battery terminal to avoid pulling wires out of housing.
    3. Carefully position the keypad into the inserts on the mounting plate and turn keypad right (clockwise).
      Ensure that there are no wires or cables trapped between the keypad and the inserts on the mounting plate. Pinched cables result in a short circuit.
