Enter: * then #
- MSL-100: after * and # the keypad will beep three times along with three green flashes
- MSL-200 and MSL-300: after * and # the keypad will do nothing
- After you enter * then # on the keypad you get three beeps along with three green flashes, you have a MSL-100

How to determine if you have the MSL-200 or the MSL-300
Remove the keypad housing to expose the battery compartment:
- The MSL-200 has two groups of wires going into the safe.
- The MSL-300 has one group of wires going into the safe.
- Remove the keypad housing and if you see two groups of wires going into your safe you have a MSL-200

- After you enter * then # on the keypad there is no beeps or flashes
- Remove the keypad housing and ifyou see one group of wires going into your safe you have MSL-300
