May 12th, 2011 - Day 3 at the National Hardware Show was the last day of the event. It was a very eventful and fun-filled three days having the opportunity to engage with other similar companies who specialize in security and safety. It was a pleasure to interact with so many people who were interested in our safes. It was amusing to see their reactions when they saw the difference between our safes compared to what they were normally exposed to. Many of the visitors couldn’t believe how vulnerable the other types of safes really were.
We were very pleased with the turnout. The Mesa team had an incredible experience with everyone involved, from attendees to exhibitors. We made great friends throughout the show from our fellow neighbors to the people who visited.
Our plastic vs. steel educational campaign was one of the main attractions at our booth. It generated enormous amount interest, questions and comments. People were eager to know more about why “their safe” wasn’t as secure as our all steel construction full line of safes. They were upset, surprised, shocked and intrigued by how easy it was to breach a plastic constructed safe. Many wanted to know why they have been misled and how they could get themselves a safe like ours. The NH show, booth and interaction with everyone was a terrific and awe-inspiring experience the entire time we were in Las Vegas. We are very proud here at Mesa Safe to be able to offer you a product that we believe can’t be compromised. We rely on safety, security and honesty as much as you do. We will continue to do everything we can to bring you the best products available without sacrificing quality, affordability or your safety. Bottom line, we never settle for less.
As we wrapped up the show, we said our good byes to Las Vegas and packed up our stuff to head back to our headquarters in Orange, CA. However, the show doesn’t stop there, we’ll be looking forward to the upcoming National Restaurant Show in Chicago next week where we’ll be eager to show off our products and interact with other manufacturers and visitors once again. Until then…
Thanks again, and remember… “Better Mesa Safe than Sorry!”
May 11th, 2011 - The 2nd day at the National Hardware Show was as awesome as the first. We got to meet a lot more people and had more people visit our booth to check out our products. We had manufacturers and companies who came to visit who were really nice, down to earth and interested in selling our products. It was a wonderful feeling to network with so many successful companies and we hope to keep in touch even after the show. We passed out a lot of our business cards, brochures and our popular Mesa Gazette newsletter.
Our Mesa Gazette newsletter featured topics on security safes and the benefits of an all steel safe compared to a plastic safe. It was a big deal for us as it was for those who received the newspaper because it informed them about the difference between the two types of safes. Many people who picked up a newspaper were amused with the comics, personals and our crossword puzzle. We hope to have delivered a fun experience, but also an educational one for those who came through.
We're still getting a lot of attention with our Hitch-Hiker safe. Many people just love the fact that they can store their valuables without having to bring it along with them during their outdoor activities. No more worrying about losing your keys or misplacing your wallet when surfing or snowboarding. Our hitch safe wasn't the only safe getting all the attention. Our fire and gun safes also sparked massive interest. A lot of folks wanted something that can store their firearms to protect against theft and fire. Our gun safes were the ideal choice. With summer approaching, many people were interested in our fire safes to protect their valuables under extreme heat or in case of any fire emergencies. We were really eager and motivated to answer any questions people had.
We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth so far. It’s an honor and pleasure to share our products with you. The same goes for those who have also shared their products with us. From all the different companies we’ve connected with so far, its no wonder the National Hardware Show is one of the most respected and valued shows in the world. We still got one more day ahead of us and we’ll certainly make the most of it. We would also like to thank those who have been following us on Twitter.
May 10th, 2011 - Day 1 at the National Hardware Show was a huge success! We were very excited to meet everyone who attended the first day, and also our booth neighbors. The different products we saw from all the different manufacturers and companies were spectacular and innovative. It is definitely a pleasure to be a part of the biggest hardware show in the country and have the opportunity each year to share our new products.
The National Hardware Show opened up with a huge commencement and even featured the Las Vegas High School Marching Band. Ourbooth is setup in the Hardware Tools section that features safety, security and locks. The first day we had a great turn out. Many visitors came to our booth to check out our new product line.
Our Plastic Vs. Steel campaign has been a huge hit. We saw a lot of heads turning towards our Plastic Vs. Steel video, many couldn’t believe what they saw. They were surprised with how easy it is to break into a plastic safe compared to a steel safe.
The video demonstration wasn’t the only thing turning heads. We also got a lot of interest on our new hitch safe. They loved how it was portable and durable enough for the outdoors. The extra hitch attachment feature was just icing on the cake.
We’re definitely looking forward to Day 2 of the NHS hardware show. We’ll keep you updated on what’s going on, and what we’ve been up to throughout the show. You can follow us through Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/mesasafecompany) with any updates. If you happen to be at the show, our booth number is #7425. Come visit us and say hi!

Las Vegas, N.V. (May 2010) – Mesa Safe Company, the leader in residential and commercial safes, showcased their U.L. Class 350 – 1 Hour Rated Fire and Water Resistant Safes at the 2010 Hardware Show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, May 4-6, 2010. To thousands of exhibitors, attendees, and industry professionals, Mesa Safe Company proved their commitment to highest quality products at the lowest possible prices.
“After years of seeing what was available to the general public in fire safes, I knew we needed to do something different, something that really is secure,” said George Vicente, founder of Mesa Safes. “We needed to combine fire resistance with more than just basic lock security. Our safe had to offer fire protection, be a deterrent to theft, and be made of steel construction inside and out. Water resistance is a must so it was added. We did it not just because customers demanded it, but because we know they deserve it.”
