MSL-200E ELECTRONIC LOCK OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Master code is factory set to 7 - 7 - 7 - 7 - 7 - 7
How to open your safe Single User Mode (Default Setting)- Enter * - Code - #
- The lock will indicate a valid code entry with a double signal and the open light will stay green for five (5) seconds.
- Turn the handle clockwise before the green light disappears.
- Enter: * - 1st Code - # - 2nd Code - #
- The lock will indicate a valid code entry with a double signal and the open light will stay green for five (5) seconds.
- Turn the handle clockwise before the green light disappears.
- Entry of three (3) consecutive invalid codes starts a five (5) minute lockout period.
- You will not get any response from the keypad during this period.
Always perform this operation with the door open.
- Enter: # - Existing Master Code - #
- The set light will stay orange for ten (10) seconds.
- Enter: 1 - * - New Master Code - # - New Master Code - #, before the orange light disappears.
- If a mistake is made during the change, wait thirty (30) seconds and repeat steps 1 - 3.
- Test the new code several times before closing the door.
- The lock will indicate a valid code change with a double signal. The lock will indicate an invalid code change with a triple signal and the old code is still valid.
- Enter: # - Master Code - #
- The set light will stay orange for ten (10) seconds.
- Enter: 2 - * - New Manger Code - # - New Manger Code - #, before the orange light dissapears.
- If a mistake is made during the activation, wait thirty (30) seconds and repeat steps 1 thru 3.
- The lock will indicate a valid code entry with a double signal.
- The lock will indicate an invalid code entry with a triple signal and the old code is still valid.

- Enter: 2 - * - New Manager Code - # - New Manager Code - #, before the orange light disappears.
- If a mistake is made during the change, wait thirty (30) seconds and repeat steps 1 thru 3.
- Test the new code several times before closing the door.
- The lock will indicate a valid code change with a double signal.
- The lock will indicate an invalid code change with a triple signal and the old code is still valid.
- Enter: # - Master Code or Manger Code - #
- The set light will stay orange for ten (10) seconds.
- Enter: (User #) - * - New User Code - # - New User Code - #, before the orange light dissappears. (User #: Specify which user you would like to activate 3, 4 , 5 or 6.)
- If a mistake is made during the change, wait thirty (30) seconds and repeat steps 1 thru 3.
- The lock will indicate a valid code change with a double signal.
- The lock will indicate an invalid code change with a triple signal and the old code is still valid.
- Example: # - Master Code or Manager - # - 5 - * - New User Code - # - New User Code - #, this will activate User Five (5).

- Enter: # - New User Code - # - New User Code - #, before the orange light disappears.
- If a mistake is made during the change, wait thirty (30) seconds and repeat steps 1 thru 3.

- The lock will indicate a valid code change with a double signal.
- The lock will indicate an invalid code change with a triple signal and the old code is still valid.
- The Master and Manager can also change the user codes by following the activate user codes section steps 1 thru 3.
Deleting a user code
- Enter: # - Master Code or Manager Code - #
- The set light will stay orange for ten (10) seconds.
- Enter: (User #) - * - # - #
- Enter: # - Master Code - #
- The set light will stay orange for ten (10) seconds.
- Enter: 2 - * - # - #
- The lock will indicate a valid code delete with a double signal.
- The lock will indicate an invalid code change with a triple signal and the old code is still valid.
- Changing the Master Code in single user mode will delete the Manager Code and all User Codes.
- Changing the Master Code in dual user mode will delete the Manager Code and Users 3 & 4.
- Changing the Manager Code in single user mode will delete all the User Codes.
- Changing the Manager Code in dual user mode will delete Users 3 & 4.

Setting single user mode (any code to unlock)
- Enter: # - Master Code - # - 0 - # - 0 - #
- The lock will indicate a valid setting change with a double signal
- Enter: # 0 Master Code - # - 1- # - 1 - #
- The lock will indicate a valid setting change with a double signal.
- Enter: # - Master Code - # - 2 - # - 2 - #
- The lock will indicate a valid setting change with a double signal.

Always perform this operation with the door open
This function will delay the opening and programming of the safe
- Enter: # - Master Code - # - (01-99) - # - (01-99) - #
- The lock will indicate a valid setting change witha double signal
- Example: # - Master Code - # - 05 - 05 0 #, this will set a five (5) minute time delay.
- Press * or # to initiate the Time Delay.
- The lock will signal once every ten (10) seconds during time delay and will signal every second during the last ten (10) seconds during the open period.
- The lock will signal twice every ten (10) seconds during the open period. The open period length is two (2) minutes.
- During the open period you will need to enter your code.
- Enter: # - Master Code - # - 00 - # - 00 - #
- The lock will indicate a valid setting change with a double signal.
- The green LED light will signal in red when opening your safe.
- The lock is giving you a valid signal but is not unlocking.
Changing your batteries
- Turn the keypad housing to the left (counter clockwise) and carefully pull away from the mounting plate to expose battery compartment.
- Remove the four AAA Alkaline batteries and replace.
Caution: Hold onto the battery terminal to avoid pulling wires out of the housing. - Carefully position the keypad into the insterts on the mounting plate and turn keypad right (clockwise). Ensure that there are no wires or cables trapped between the keyapd and the inserts on the mounting plate. Pinched cables result in a short circuit.
